KAGUYA has arrived at the Moon

JAXA performed the lunar orbit injection maneuver (LOI1) for KAGUYA (SELENE) at 21:20 UTC on October 3, 2007. The satellite is confirmed to be in good health.
As a result of the orbit calculation after the maneuver, JAXA has confirmed that the KAGUYA was injected into the following lunar orbit: Apogee altitude 11,741 km, Perigee altitude 101 km and Orbit Period of 16 hours and 42 minutes.
