The following new images taken by the Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) on the Cassini spacecraft are now available:
- High Cloud, Low Cloud (Released 17 March 2008)
Shadows cast by Saturn's rings separate the planet's bright equatorial band from the darker northern latitudes. - Rings Aglow (Released 18 March 2008)
Saturn's softly glowing rings shine in scattered sunlight. - A Stressed Surface (Released 19 March 2008)
This southerly view of Dione shows enormous canyons extending from mid-latitudes on the trailing hemisphere, at right, to the moon's south polar region. - The Turbulent North (Released 20 March 2008)
Diverse cloud forms shift and spin in the far northern reaches of Saturn. - Seeing the C Ring (Released 21 March 2008)
The Cassini spacecraft views the gauzy C ring of Saturn, with the cloud-streaked planet providing a dramatic backdrop.
